Anyone interested in Spirituality and Reincarnation has stumbled upon the works of Dr. Ian Stevenson (an easy book to read as an introduction to his 40 years of research on the topic, is "Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation, which can be found in pdf and for free on the internet).
Organized religions do not give satisfying answers as to why people and animals suffer so deeply. According to the reincarnation theory, we come back to earth to restore balance, and we do it willingly. It is not a punishment or a reward, but simply a balance, for nature constantly transforms energies to reach equilibrium.
People who are aligned with themselves, their soul and God, become very sensitive to animals and nature, for they can feel, and know for a certainty, that they are all connected. They also feel that they need to be part of the creation of a new earth to pass on, and eventually come back to. The smallest of actions take therefore a whole different dimension, and people start to live, dress and eat differently because they wish to do no harm and allow animals, nature and other human beings, not only to merely survive, but to thrive.
Dr. Stevenson has documented, by means of systematic scientific research, over 2'500 cases of reincarnation. This deserves, at least, some serious interest. His work might also open the door for us to understand and give "meaning" and "purpose" to the immense pain human beings and animals experience.
In the documentaries "Blackfish" and "Killer Whales are in Trouble Again", to site only a few, one wonders why majestic orcas like Tilikum and Lolita would have suffered, and continue to suffer in the case of Lolita, as I write those lines, so intensely, and for so many years. Each of them produced in every single human being who came across their story, empathy, awareness, sadness and above all, the will to do, and be better.
Entire groups of scientists, children, NGOs, former orca trainers and hunters, have mobilized to help save them, and others like them. Could this have been a conscious choice of life mission for these orcas, who have impacted millions of human lives around the planet, much more than their counterparts who have lived, and continue to live happily and freely in the oceans?
Many people wish for animals, with no exception, to thrive, be happy and free, but... the rest of us either don't know, don't care, or agree with their sacrifice. Whether we talk about orcas, dolphins, belugas, seals, wolves, tigers, monkeys, horses, and so much more animals tortured in captivity, or killed for food and other reasons, one wonders if these lives are simply wasted from the beginning to the end, with random suffering , or if there is a purpose.
According to researchers and neuroscientists, orcas, or more commonly called "killer whales" (even if there has never been a killer whale attack against humans in the wild, ever recorded, to this date), have a more complex brain than human beings. The grey matter of their brain that processes emotions is much bigger, which makes them capable of pain with a tenfold intensity, compared to human beings.
The above means that separation from their family, and mothers being stripped of their babies, is excruciating for them, just to mention the least of suffering prior, and during captivity.
Many other animals that are being treated like property and abused by mankind, like horses in the horse racing and riding industries, all kinds of animals in confinement in zoos, aquariums, and marine parks, and all those who are being killed and tortured in the fashion, food and dairy industries are all living creatures capable of great awareness, conscious kindness, complex emotions, and pure Love.
Would highly intelligent and evolved animals consciously want to go through this journey to educate and reunite human beings with their own Self first, one another, and then also with nature and animals? Could human beings, less evolved than orcas, for instance, reincarnate into more evolved animals? Do animals feel emotions? Are they capable of conscious choices? Are they subject to depression and despair? Can they commit suicide? Do they produce karma? Do they can reincarnate? In the "Research & Stories" section, you will find answers to these questions.
Please, switch to a plant-based diet and be cruelty-free, for the sake of our animal friends and our only home: the planet. Do not ride horses and let them be free, do not go to horse racing events, marine parks, zoos and aquariums, do not buy fur or leather, or any product coming from animal testing, suffering and killing.
God gave us all a skin, hair, eyelashes and eyebrows for our own use, we do not need to sacrifice others for more. This is Greed, and it produces disconnection from Infinite Love and leads to Negative Divine Justice, or Karma, as well as apathy, depression and other deep psychological issues like distress, PTSD, loneliness and endless void.
Sincerely,
Nermine
